  1. Letting her go has got to be hard. For both of you and for her. However, she is off to a new adventure and will most likely really help someone who will be forever grateful to you. Or, she will get to be a mommy dog.
    Thinking of you both.

  2. I really admire you for what you do. It must be hard to say goodbye. You are truly a good person.

    • It went pretty smoothly at the time. The dogs were excited to be with each other, and they all like traveling in the trucks and vans. We said goodbye, but someone at the other end will be saying hello. She will have a wonderful future. Thanks for being here as support, Maire.

  3. Makes me emotional just to see the pictures. I applaud the good work that you did and, even though, parting is hard, the experience added to your life, I am sure!

  4. Thanks so much for doing what you do for others. You are an inspiration.

  5. Great job! Saw the most wonderful work dog on the plane yesterday & thought of you.

  6. Sweet sorrow are the words that comes to mind.

Just caught up on this post and your last one. Bye, Spice! Blessings to you in your new life!

Whatever happens, I assume you will be informed, so I hope you will let us all know how she fares.
