Letting her go has got to be hard. For both of you and for her. However, she is off to a new adventure and will most likely really help someone who will be forever grateful to you. Or, she will get to be a mommy dog.
Thinking of you both.
It went pretty smoothly at the time. The dogs were excited to be with each other, and they all like traveling in the trucks and vans. We said goodbye, but someone at the other end will be saying hello. She will have a wonderful future. Thanks for being here as support, Maire.
Makes me emotional just to see the pictures. I applaud the good work that you did and, even though, parting is hard, the experience added to your life, I am sure!
Yes, the right photo can be emotionally cathartic. I was trying for that on #3. We learned a lot about communicating with dogs that we didn’t know before! Thanks, Debbie.
I’ve come really, really late to this party. Are you likely to take on another puppy in the next six months? Or is that too soon, having recently let go of this one?
We will wait to find out her progress before committing to raising another pup, because she might get career-changed and return. The next post will cover the details. Thanks for asking.

It was easier than letting go of the last one. We knew what to expect. Thanks for dropping by, Susie.
Bon courage
…et bon voyage. Merci.
I really admire you for what you do. It must be hard to say goodbye. You are truly a good person.

Thanks so much for doing what you do for others. You are an inspiration.

Sweet sorrow are the words that comes to mind.
Well said. Thank you.
