Go Your Own Way

As I get older I’ve taken time to think about some of the core American traits that resonate within our melded tribe.  There’s a strain of individualism, of a belief that if you can imagine it, you can make it real in this place.  It comes out in all sorts of good and bad ways throughout our history.  Hypocrites will call themselves mavericks.  Real mavericks are too busy blazing new trails to label themselves.
