Eric W. is a unique composer-conductor. I’ve sung this piece with a professional choir, but his idea of assembling people from everywhere to perform it was an inspired choice. Since that first project, he’s done it a couple more times on other works, with a virtual choir of thousands!

Thanks, Pie. I’m glad you brought up the deer. With the construction of the two nearby homes nearly complete, they have resumed their daily visits to our grounds. They had only been stopping by on weekends, avoiding the noise and presence of the workers. Now, I often leave out my back door when called for work, and one or more will be within a few meters. They stand up, I stand still to tell them (mentally and verbally) that no one will harm them in this place, and they resume eating or lie down again.
