Eight Miles High

It’s raining so hard the rhododendrons are losing their petals.  When I was little I didn’t like rain, but I’ve changed.  My desert-born wife loves rain.  It rained like this on our wedding day, one of the luckiest days of my life.

The Bristol Stool Scale

Today’s focus is on B.M.  Did you know there’s a scientific chart for that?  It was developed in the 1990s during studies at the University of Bristol.  Types 3 and 4 are the good ones.

People Skills Count

I’ve been going through what’s necessary to establish residency in a new state.  There’s some animosity between California, where I came from, and the place I’m in now.  If I’m able to play up the fact that I grew up in the Midwest, it certainly helps.

Dragon Bones

As I have hinted in some comments and previous posts, we are moving.  I’ve been making boxes and packing them while the house upgrades have been underway.  During our 15 years of marriage, our combined incomes rose and then fell.  A decade ago, we were pulling in a robust six figures.  Now we make an amount in the middle of the five figures.
