Hello, everyone. I’m still buried under too much work to write, but I thought you might enjoy seeing that little deer I wrote about before, the one that likes to take naps in a sunny spot in the back yard. This is from the kitchen door. Oh, you can’t see it clearly? That is a problem using a phone-cam. A fixed-focus wide-angle lens doesn’t do justice to the experience. Let’s try cropping it.

That, good sir, is precious! Oh how darling!!!Awwwwwwwwwww! Now that in itself was worth your time in Motel 2 1/2 to be able to see critters like that when you got to Casa Deluxe! Glad to see you around again. I missed you!
Thanks, Lisa. I’m looking forward to catching up on your posts too.
Look at that cutie. That’s your home, Mikey. That’s your home. Aren’t you the lucky one. Makes all those hoops you had to jump through worthwhile, doesn’t it?
It does. Thanks, Pie
I overlook gardens, but sadly don’t own one, so the only “deer” we get is when the balcony doors are open (read: any summer day and night if we are home) and if someone somewhere in the gardens below have a ‘wonderful’, very noisy, late into the night, no.. I mean into the wee hours of the morning BBQ party, that annoys most of the surrounding neighbourhood.
The “oh dear, oh dear” we have in our backyards are so very clearly deeply, utterly, totally inferior to yours, camera phone or no… you win hands down my friend, I *love* YOUR little sleepy little friend and yep, I’m jealous of your little slice of heaven LOL.
Enjoy it, what a FABULOUS place to come home from work to !
All I must do now is work less, and come home more. Thank you, Kiwi.
Very nice!
I think he/she’s adorable. A bit large for cuddling. Over 100 lbs, but still…
Oh, phew! I was about to report this post title for being suggestive. ; )
It’s suggestive of the Disney film – I hope. The deer’s young enough to still have spots, like that Bambi.
Aw, that’s lovely! The only things in my backyard are squirrels.
No jackalopes?
Super cute! But be careful pulling out of the driveway. I hate seeing deer, it means an accident lurks ahead.
There’s a family group of 6 living in the hill/forest my street is built on. They are quite used to people and cars. I’ve encountered them many times since this was written. The deer stop and look before crossing the road.
